GIVE A DONATION AS A GIFT IN TRIBUTE OR IN MEMORIAM
Choose a WILD way to celebrate you or your child's next birthday, a wedding or an anniversary. Offer your friends, relatives and co-workers a gift in their name to Wildlife Preservation Canada, or give your guests the opportunity to make a contribution to WPC in lieu of bringing a gift.
When you make a donation in honour of a wedding, a birthday or another special event, we will send a card to your gift recipient to notify them of your generosity. When you make an in memoriam donation, we will send a card to the next of kin to notify them of your gift. Tax receipts are issued for all donations.
BECOME A MONTHLY DONOR
One of the most cost effective ways to support WPC is by joining our Wildlife Guardian monthly giving program. You can authorize WPC to charge a specific amount to your credit card or withdraw it from your chequing account each month. At the end of the year, we will send you a summary of your giving and a charitable contribution tax receipt. Find out more about becoming a Wildlife Guardian.
INCLUDE WPC IN YOUR ESTATE PLAN
You can help save endangered animals for future generations by naming WPC as a beneficiary in your will. Supporting WPC with a bequest may offer you a significant tax savings, and will make you a member of our "Gerald Durrell Society". Find out more about the Gerald Durrell Society.
MULTIPLY YOUR GIFT THROUGH WORKPLACE GIVING
You can support WPC by designating your charitable contribution to WPC through your workplace giving campaign. To learn if your workplace participates, please contact your human resource office.
GIVE WITH DONATIONS IN-KIND
Our Current Wish List:
* Storage shelving for our Guelph office storeroom.
* New laptop computer and/or Blackberry for summer staff
* Phone cards - Our summer staff is "on the road" every day reaching out to landowners and involving local communities in efforts to save endangered species across Canada. Help them stay in touch with our Guelph office.
* Shell Canada has donated $5,000 in gas certificates this year - but we always need more. Our interns cross the province and the country talking to local groups and working with four Shrike Recovery Action Groups across Ontario
* Items for the silent auction at our annual dinner and silent auction event.
